These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of OpenDinks. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them.
By accessing or using OpenDinks (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date on this page, and where the change is significant we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an OpenDinks account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these terms on your behalf.
Some tournaments and sessions impose their own age requirements. Those are set by the organizer, not by us.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, and may remove content that violates them.
This section is important, so we state it directly: OpenDinks is a platform, not an event operator. Sessions, tournaments, clubs and venues listed on the Service are created and run by independent organizers, court owners and community members.
If you are an organizer, you are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, for handling participant data you collect through the Service responsibly and lawfully, and for honouring the terms — including refund and cancellation policies — that you advertise to participants.
Pickleball is a physical sport carrying an inherent risk of injury, including serious injury. By using the Service to find, join or organise play, you acknowledge that risk and accept it. You are responsible for determining whether you are physically fit to participate and for using appropriate equipment.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OpenDinks is not liable for any injury, illness, loss or damage arising from your participation in any session, tournament or activity discovered through, arranged through, or listed on the Service.
OpenDinks does not currently process online payments for event entry. Session fees, tournament entry fees and venue charges are paid directly between you and the organizer or venue, using whatever method they specify. Where the Service records a payment status, it reflects an organizer's manual confirmation and is a record-keeping convenience only.
Certain platform features operate on a session credit allowance, which may be granted, purchased or redeemed via coupon codes. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, are not redeemable for money, and may expire. We may vary the default allowance at any time.
You retain ownership of the content you submit — profile information, photos, club posts, comments and messages. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt and display it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. If you upload a photograph containing other people, you are responsible for having their permission to do so.
We may remove content that breaches these terms, but we do not pre-screen content and we are not responsible for content submitted by users.
The Service itself — including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the OpenDinks name — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.
The Service integrates third-party providers, which may include authentication providers, email delivery, push notification services, rating systems such as DUPR, and advertising networks including Google AdSense. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Advertisements displayed on the Service, and any content or offers within them, come from third parties. We do not endorse advertised products or services and are not responsible for them. Our Privacy Policy explains how advertising cookies are used.
The Service may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
You should not rely on the Service as the sole record of anything you cannot afford to lose. Organizers running events with real stakes are strongly encouraged to keep an independent backup of critical information such as registration lists and results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability or completeness of any content on the Service, including event listings, player ratings, standings and results.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OpenDinks and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OpenDinks and its operators from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your content, your breach of these terms, or — if you are an organizer — any event you run.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — will survive.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines for any dispute arising out of these terms or the Service.
OpenDinks is operated by Aljon Moliva, an individual based in Davao City, Philippines, rather than by a registered company. References to "we", "us" and "our" throughout these terms mean that operator.
